After 2 1/2 years in assisted living, my daily visits are a regular part of my mother's routine. Be grateful for the sound of your mother's voice as mine has stopped speaking altogether. Her needs have to be found out by paying close attention to her body language and behavior. I may have given up some things to help Momma but I have been given so much more. God is walking with us and provides what we need as the needs arise. Not saying it's simple, but in our weakness, He is strong.
