We must trust the Lord before we can be humble before Him. Trust precedes the humility of submission, because if we don't trust the One to whom we defer, it isn't safe to say, "Thy will and not mine be done."
If we refuse to place our trust in Jesus, we will constantly overrule Him in the decisions we make throughout our days.
Lord, we trust You! Help us trust You more. Please have Your good and perfect way in our lives; Thy will be done.
