Sometimes I am hesitant to bring my upsets to the Lord. This happens when I am upset with Him for some reason. Trust is very important to the Lord; He has done so much for us, and all He asks in return is for our belief, also known as trust.
However, it is so much better to pour out our upsets before Him than it is to close our hearts to Him. Apart from Him, we will find ourselves searching for alternative ways to make ourselves feel better and this inevitably will lead to sin.
Prayer:
Dear Lord, when things happen that we don't understand, when we are afraid, and even when we feel angry with You, help us to come into Your presence, to reaffirm that we trust You, and seek Your direction. When we can't do anything else, we can choose to believe. Amen.
